Where are the Mobile Ads for Affiliates?

September 26, 2012 by Shawn Collins

Mobile visitors are a significant segment for affiliates, accounting for more than 10% of traffic, according to the M-Commerce: The Complete Picture report from Affiliate Window.

Mobile Affiliate AdsBut merchants have been slow to make affiliate creative for mobile.

I was just talking to my friend, Janet Attard of Business Know-How, and she can’t seem to find mobile affiliate ads for the programs she is promoting, and she is seeing about 15% of her traffic from mobile browsers.

I just poked around at a bunch of affiliate programs and could not find any myself.

As far as the ad sizes for mobile, Google Adsense has a list of sizes they support.

So, what do you say merchants and networks? Are we missing something, or are the mobile ads not there, yet?

Tag Management Solution from Impact Radius

September 17, 2012 by Shawn Collins

Impact Radius has released a tag management solution called Foundation to address the challenges marketers face when working with multiple tags.

Foundation from Impact Radius

Tags, which are small snippets of code on a webpage, are used to track customer behavior.

It’s become common for eCommerce sites to have dozens of tags to track actions like affiliate referrals, digital promotions, keyword tracking, ad serving, code snippets for web analytics,
remarketing, A/B testing, and behavioral marketing.

The problem is that all of these pieces of code can have a negative impact for sites by slowing the load time.

Impact Radius’ Foundation helps marketers manage and reconcile their media efforts by simplifying and streamlining tag management, tracking, ad serving and reporting.

For more information and to request a demo, visit Impact Radius.
