Mobile Guide to Affiliate Summit East 2012

Attendees at Affiliate Summit East 2012 will be able to submit session feedback from phones and tablets with the EventMethod app, which is available at iTunes and Google Play.

EventMethod app for Affiliate Summit East 2012What is EventMethod and Where Do You Get a Registration Number?

The EventMethod Mobile Guide will allow you to view the Affiliate Summit agenda, submit session feedback, and share contact information.

Registered attendees will be receiving an email from EventMethod a few days before Affiliate Summit East 2012 directing them to download the EventMethod Mobile Guide.

The email will include a unique registration number. Once you download the app, enter your 9-digit registration number and you will be able to view the Affiliate Summit agenda.

How to Submit Session Feedback on Your Smartphone

  • Select the session where you’d like to provide feedback.
  • Select the Take Survey.
  • Select the question you would like to answer.
  • Then type in your answer, select from the multiple choice answers or slide the ratings bar and hit submit. After you submit you will return to the list of survey questions, to respond to the next question on the list.

If you would like to respond to a survey for a different agenda item, return to the agenda list and select another agenda item.

The EventMethod app also includes the session descriptions and speaker bios.

Only Exhibitors and Sponsors May Distribute Materials at Affiliate Summit East 2012

Affiliate Summit rules prohibit distributing any sort of promotional materials or advertisements at the conference by companies who are not exhibitors and/or sponsors.

The following is in the terms when attendees register for the conference:

Signage and Distribution of Materials:
Attendees may not place signage or distribute advertisements and/or promotional material of any kind anywhere in the conference facilities during the entire length of the conference.

Failure to abide by these conditions may result, at the discretion of the Affiliate Summit, in the eviction of persons involved without compensation to the attendee, and the attendee may forfeit the right to attend a future Affiliate Summit event.

If your company is not currently an exhibitor and/or sponsor, there are currently two booths remaining in the exhibit hall. Book a booth now.

Affiliate Summit Donates $20,329 to Fight Breast Cancer

The Race to Affiliate Summit East 2012, an exercise challenge where Affiliate Summit committed to donating $1 to benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in support of Affiliate Marketers Give Back team for each mile in the challenge, has completed.

Affiliate Summit East 2012Participants cycled, run, swam, and walked to add up miles for the charity competition.

There were 61 folks involved in the challenge, and the top ten competitors accumulated 13,022 miles.

Overall, there were 20,329 miles tallied by all of the participants, so the total donation was $20,329.

Thank you so much to everybody who participated and helped to make this the biggest charity donation ever from Affiliate Summit.

The participant with the most total miles at the end of the challenge, Matthew Pardo with 2,050 miles, will receive a VIP Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2013. The 2nd to 5th place finishers will each receive a Networking Plus Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2013, and 6th to 10th place finishers will each receive a Networking Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2013.

Affiliate Summit East 2012 is taking place August 12-14, 2012 in New York City.
