The exhibit hall and interactive portion of South by Southwest have wrapped up, so now I’m in catch-up mode.
This was my third SXSW (second time as an Austin resident), and it was a great experience all around. Lots of new and familiar faces, good times, music, and business.
We had an Affiliate Summit booth in the exhibit hall, where we chatted up all sorts of folks about the upcoming Affiliate Summits, while handing out hundreds of Affiliate Geek shirts, playing some air hockey, giving away free passes, and listening to hourly sets from Khris Thayer, CEO & Co-Founder at Optizmo Technologies.
Check out one of Khris’ songs from the SXSW show floor.
One of the nights of SXSW, a bunch of friends of Affiliate Summit jumped on board the PubCrawler of Austin to see the city in a different way and enjoy some of the watering holes.
I finished up the week with a little stress relief with my business partner, Missy Ward, by shooting up some sporting clays.
It was her first time, and I predict she buys a shotgun within a year.
