LinkShare has just finished compiling their Thanksgiving holiday shopping data, and they’ve got a lot of great news, including record year-over-year growth during Cyber Week.
Same store sales in the LinkShare network increased 50 percent on Black Friday, 45 percent on Cyber Monday, and weekend sales (Saturday/Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend) increased 58 percent over 2009.
These numbers are startling when compared with reports from comScore that overall retail sales were up 9 percent on Black Friday and 16 percent on Cyber Monday.
Additionally, LinkShare advertisers experienced triple digit gains in luxury, apparel and personal care.
Another interesting data point from LinkShare is the comparison of their advertiser sales with Commission Junction over this period.
It looks like things are up big all around for the Christmas season!
