After a somewhat topsy-turvy 18 months, where they shared headlines with no less than Eliot Spitzer, Microsoft, and Hormel, OptInRealBig.com’s CPAEmpire seems to be headed towards a bright future.
They just sent out the following email to recap some of their recent adventures:
We at CPAEmpire wanted to take a moment to express our sincere thanks to all of you who have contacted our offices over the last three days to congratulate us on the settlement of our lawsuit with Microsoft.
After 1-1/2 years of costly litigation and the drain on our human resources, we are happy to announce that it’s finally over – and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
While the publicity surrounding the lawsuit has actually been good for business, the suit itself has been a nuisance and has impeded our growth.
As we stand here today — a profitable and financially secure company – we are confident that the Microsoft settlement along with the dismissal of our Chapter 11 Bankruptcy proceedings (calendared for September 21, 2005) will now allow us to focus on the growth of our staff, new projects, and the expansion of our business which had been placed on the back burner because of the lawsuit.Ironically enough, it was only last month that Spamhaus.org – the entity that monitors and tracks the Internet’s Spammers – gave our company a clean bill of health. We are very proud of that honor and will continue to live up to the self-imposed rigid business practices that we have undertaken. This distinction is what sets us apart from other networks and further solidifies our business model and future growth.
There are many exciting things on the horizon for CPAEmpire.com and I for one am extremely thrilled to be a part of this team.
Thank you for your continued support of our company. We look forward to serving you for many years to come.
