Did you ever work with one of those people that openly made phone calls in the office for their job search? They were not happy with their current situation, and decided it was time to move on. Fair enough.
But their lack of discretion was always amazing to me.
I was reminded of that sort of behavior when an affiliate program on CJ recently sent out the following e-mail to their affiliates.
It seems CJ is getting too expensive and difficult to use for them, so they are asking for recommendations of other affiliate networks.
That’s reasonable enough, but to ask such a question through CJ’s internal e-mail system! Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?
Hello,
First, thank you for “publishing” for BeanDate.com.
I thought I should put this out to you here. CJ.com recently contacted us and said they will be raising there monthly fee by 100%.
We might have been ok with this if it were done in increments over time, but a 100% increase just comes across as greedy.
So I’m writing to you today for some help, please.
Could you recommend another Affiliate Marketing software that would be a bit more reasonably priced and/or easier to use?
Thank you and happy holidays,
Sincerely,
/Bill McMahonPresident

Unfortunately, selecting the affiliate network that’s best for your company isn’t as simple as getting a cup of coffee.
