Just returned from the epic ABestWeb & ShareASale “Under the Stars” Party – great time, fun conversation, but a bit too hot for this north-easterner.
It’s been a long day with registration starting at 8am and the Affiliate Meet Market ran from noon to 6pm. Booth setup was today, too, and I shot a brief video of the action.
Uncle Scooter, who gave out his famous “Scooter Squeeze” hugs at the Affiliate Meet Market as a fundraiser for the March of Dimes, generated about $1,000 today with his hugs. Great work.
Also, I snapped some pictures of the first day at Affiliate Summit and threw them up on my Flickr account.
All kinds of good stuff today – big crowds, tons of deals, learning, friendship, networking, etc. The keynote for Day Two, Ze Frank, came out to the party and shared some neat perspectives. Really looking forward to what he has to say in 8 1/2 hours at the keynote.
Folks at the show had all sorts of superlatives for Affiliate Summit today – it’s like the summer camp, prom, reunion, and other things of affiliate marketing. Whatever it is, it’s great to see so many like-minded, motivated people sharing business and smiles.
Check out the Affiliate Summit blog for ongoing coverage by Jim Kukral.
Now for some sleep.
