Are You the Smartest Person in the Room?

March 4, 2014 by Shawn Collins

I am eternally curious about why people choose certain passes for Affiliate Summit, especially the reasons why some never register for a pass that includes educational sessions.

Never Stop Climbing

The typical answer from folks who never go to sessions is that they won’t learn anything in them.

That can surely be the case with some people and certain subjects, but for dozens of sessions on a variety of business topics and issues?

I guess some people do truly know it all, or they believe they do.

Personally, I am always hungry for new business information, as things frequently evolve, and there are always new companies and concepts being introduced.

That’s one of the reasons why the motto of Affiliate Summit is Never Stop Climbing.

I think learning never ends.

And if you usually think you’re the smartest person in the room, how are you ever going to learn anything?
