This week on the GeekCast, Will Martin-Gill, senior manager of Internet marketing for eBay, joined Sam Harrelson, Jim Kukral, Lisa Picarille and me to talk about the transition of the eBay affiliate program from CJ to in-house.

eBay affiliate programWill entertained a variety of questions about the move, as well as what will be involved for affiliates to migrate and whether ShoeMoney was the catalyst for eBay leaving Commission Junction.

The tenth episode of the GeekCast Show also gets into Internet video guys becoming mainstream superstars, 1 TB external hard drives, and conference locations.

Also, some Squidoo trash talk where we tried to figure out why somebody would use the eBay module that Will mentioned on Squidoo. It seems to benefit Squidoo, but not the lens owner, unless I am missing something.

And just what is this cloud computing thing?
