1. How Big is Affiliate Summit?
Registration for Affiliate Summit 2006 East, taking place July 9-11, 2006 in Orlando, FL, is closing on Monday, July 3.
The Full Conference Pass, which includes access to all conference events and lunches, is $1,449 through 7/3/06.
If passes are still available, they will be sold onsite at a cost of $1,999 for the Full Conference Pass.
Exhibit Hall Only Passes can be registered through 7/3/06 for $299. The Exhibit Hall Only passes will be sold onsite, if not sold out, at a rate of $399 each. Note:
The Exhibit Hall Only Passes enable access to the Keynote Address and the Exhibit Hall only. No other sessions or lunches are included.

2. Affiliate Buyer's Guide Launches
Affiliate Summit has launched the Affiliate Buyer's Guide, a directory of products and services for affiliate marketers.
You can find products and services in the Affiliate Buyer's Guide with the search tool or by drilling down through the product and service categories.
The Affiliate Buyer's Guide was created in an online format after a lot of interest was generated by the print version, which will be distributed at Affiliate Summit (July 9-11 in Orlando).
Since the print version had limited space, it couldn't fit as many listings as we would have liked, plus some information will inevitably be outdated in the near future.
There are two types of listings in the Affiliate Buyer's Guide: free and enhanced. Enhanced listings enable companies to provide more details about their products or services, add their logo, as well as include images and documents related to their company.
Both types of listings allow affiliate marketers to submit reviews and rate the listings.

5. I Struck Gold at the LinkShare Awards
I was honored last Tuesday at the 3rd Annual LinkShare Golden Link Awards with the Performance Marketing's Most Vocal Advocate.
 The LinkShare Golden Link Awards took place at Cipriani in New York City.
Judges for this year's LinkShare Golden Link Awards were Bob Johnston, President and Executive Director for the Executive Council of New York; Kerry Murdock, Publisher of "Practical E-commerce" Magazine; Lisa Picarille, Editor-in-Chief of "Revenue" Magazine and Stefan Tornquist, Research Director for MarketingSherpa.
It was humbling to receive the gold statue, especially going against vocal advocates, Michael Coley of Amazing-Bargains.com (moderator at ABW) and David Lewis of 77 Blue (blogger at ReveNews).
Thanks to LinkShare for putting on a ritzy, glam event. And thank you to all of the people that do great things and dopey things, so that I have stuff to write about each day. ;-)

6. The Affiliate Manager 1st Edition Now Available
