One Way to Alienate Potential Affiliates

I received an @ reply on Twitter recently from @ChristAudio that read “Welcome to the network. Here’s the affiliate link with 70% > http://bit.ly/jv_st (and $11,000 in bonuses)”

However, I’d never applied or shown any interest in their affiliate program, and there isn’t really any relevance there for my blog.

Also, when I went to their site, after the Tweet, I learned that they are not even launching their affiliate program until February 24.

I’ve shared lots of affiliate recruiting advice on my blog over the years, which is still available there for free.

But for anybody who would like to have a strategy for recruiting, educating, and retaining affiliates, they can get some quick, easy to apply advice in my Kindle book, Affiliate Manager Boot Camp: Recruiting, Educating, and Retaining Affiliates, for just $1.99.

coreOPM came to be, because they realized that affiliate management services are often not a financially viable option for small businesses, and they set out to offer the “core” services needed to effectively launch and grow an affiliate program.

The service focuses on developing top-line revenue with proper compliance measures, in place to ensure incremental affiliate sales.

They currently manage 19 affiliate programs on seven tracking platforms, and clients include online retailers and software companies.

In addition to all of the business talk in the exhibit hall, there were also educational sessions throughout the day at Affiliate Summit East 2014.

And we had a nice spread for lunch that included broken lasagna, rosemary marinated chicken breast, red quinoa with pickled onion, and sauteed broccolini with cherry tomatoes.

After the education sessions, there were a series of Ask the Experts roundtables, where a number of interactive discussions were led by industry veterans.
