The Race to Affiliate Summit East 2013, a dailymile challenge where Affiliate Summit will donate $1 to benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in support of Affiliate Marketers Give Back team for each mile cycled, run, swam, or walked through the challenge, is running through 8/1/2013.
There are currently 56 folks involved in the challenge, and the top ten competitors have already accumulated 4,548 miles.
Overall, there have been 6,370 miles tallied by all of the participants, so it’s $6,370 raised (so far).
I am at #16 right now see my dailymile profile with 116 miles, but I slacked for a while. I’m about to kick it in big time and move up the ranks.
Here are the top ten affiliate marketing exercisers, as of March 19, 2013.
dailymile syncs with Garmin devices, Nike+ device and iPhone app, as well as a number of iPhone and Android clients.
I have been using the Runmeter app for a while, since my activity automatically syncs to DailyMile, but last week I learned about the very neat Withings Wireless Scale during Scott Jangro’s session at Performance Marketing Summit 2013.
The one not so neat thing about the scale is that it doesn’t sync with any of the same apps as DailyMile. So now I am using RunKeeper, and will have to manually add my exercise.
You can also manually enter your cycling, swimming, running, and walking efforts.
In order to participate in dailymile activities, you will need to friend me on dailymile and I will invite you to the challenge.
